ONE YMCA
LOGO REDESIGN & CELEBRATING 140 YEARS CAMPAIGN
2026
Campaign
One YMCA is a UK purpose-led organisation that has been at the heart of communities for over 140 years. From safe housing and family support to youth programmes, health and wellbeing services, and wider community initiatives, they’re there at every stage of life—helping people find stability, connection, and hope when it’s needed most.
The brief? Reimagine One YMCA's logo and develop a campaign that celebrated the organisation and the communities it brings together.

140 Logo
To develop this project I focused on everything human. In todays AI obsessed world humanity has been lacking in creative comms, I tried to bring it back.
A fingerprint and the story behind it. The 140 Logo uses the outline of the original YMC logo and is filled using a fingerprint.
The 140 comes in a verity of colors based on the clients preferred color scheme.

140 Signatures
Behind the fingerprints are 140 people with real stories. I kept the photographs black and white to show the simplicity of the persons smile, and the hope YMCA brings.
YMCA is handwritten by each individual, showcasing the human aspect of the campaign. Age, gender, and race vary by visual.
Key Visuals
The Heart of the Community
The secondary set of developed visuals feature the three main locations of the Charity; Bedford, High Wycombe, and Watford. A triangular path connects all three locations.
The Three locations are inside a heart, symbolizing the heart of the community. The faces of our heroes embedded in the path.

The idea behind this wall is an opportunity to have people of all ages participate in YMCA’s 140th celebration. By providing ink, people will be able to “leave their mark” though their fingerprints.
Using social media, people can help us celebrate by creating their own #140Heart.
